Applications are being accepted from student-led businesses in Africa to stand a chance of securing an investment up to $5,ooo from the Zunde Africa Funds (ZAF). Application deadline is May 1, 2017.

ZAF is an initiative of Zunde Africa Venture, a company domiciled in Kenya. The entrepreneur-focused venture platform identifies and invests an average of $5000 in student-led startups across Africa.

Founded by African Yale Alunmi who share a common vision for Africa’s development, ZAF not only invests in startups, but also connects students with experts in their business sphere. Each business is overseen by an industry consultant who is responsible for providing guidance, insight and expertise.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a student-entrepreneur in Africa
  • Must be smart, and have a business that you’re running, or you are thinking of running

Prospective applicants are advised to include in their pitch applications, detailed financial milestones that outline how this sum will be utilized.
