Nest powered Visa Bootcamp is open to Fintech Startups in Africa

Startups providing financial solutions across Africa can now apply to be a part of a 4-day Visa Bootcamp holding in Nairobi, Kenya from the 24th -27th of March.

The Visa Bootcamp powered by Nest will host seven selected startups and three developer teams from the pool of applicants in Nairobi, Kenya to accelerate their Fintech businesses. According to a statement from the convener, the Bootcamp is “seeking startups with an innovative Fintech proposition, passionate about improving financial services experiences.”

Participants will have opportunity to drive the adoption of their innovation, run proof of concept, develop partnership to scale, and a chance to secure funding on Demo day.

The programme content is best suited to companies developing solutions to the following:

  • Financial literacy
  • Personal financial management – loan calculator
  • Financial education
  • Authentication
  • Merchant point of sales
