President Muhammad Buhari will be leading a delegation of Nigerian entrepreneurs to Malta for the Commonwealth Investment and Enterprise Council business forum (CWIEC) in November.
The CWIEC, which will hold concurrently with the convening of the commonwealth Heads of States, has imbued a business forum in its scope in a bid to foster an increased business exchange amongst commonwealth countries.
Speaking about the event, Mr. Abdul Qadir Hamza, head of Business Development of the CWEIC revealed that the event would play host to Heads of Government, senior ministers, government delegates and the private sector in a place to discuss business opportunities and policymaking.
Nigerian entrepreneurs and business syndicates are advised to make good use of the opportunities this event presents. According to Mr. Joseph Ambakederimo, CEO of Puffa Nigeria Limited, which happens to be the principal partner of CWIEC, “…the Commonwealth Business Forum offers all those who had been so marginalised in the past to project themselves.”
