OLX has announced that MANDILLAS will be running a free car assessment and diagnosis on its platform (App and Mobile) to ensure the current market value of cars as well as the condition of each part of such cars. After assessment, certificate of evaluation will be offered by MANDILLAS to users afterwards. In a time when many people are skeptic of the security and integrity of online transactions, the certificate of evaluation will go a long a way to allay the fears of users and build trust among Nigerians.
Speaking at the conference that held in Lagos, OLX country manager Lola Masha said, “This collaboration with MANDILLAS validates the effectiveness of OLX as a platform with a wide range of vehicles where buyers can find great car deals and trade with trusted sellers.”
For OLX, a company dependent on ad promotion and traffic as the primary source of revenue, this situation presents them with decent content bump and enough traction to get car-owners frequenting their site, which in a way fattens their revenue.
For MANDILLAS on the other hand, the online visibility of their cars which OLX platform offers could volte-face their sales trajectory for the better as against their erstwhile ‘walk-in’ system.
