ENTERPRISE54 – The second edition of TechCabal Sessions , an exclusive dinner event featuring tech leaders, took place on the 3rd of July, 2014 with Rickard Stromberg and Jessica Thorell of Investment AB Kinnevik, being the special guests.

Kinnevik, a bullish Swedish investor, is one of the world’s most influential venture capital firms with considerable investments in emerging economies including Konga, Millicom, IROKO Partners, and Rocket Internet.

The event was attended by notable players in Nigeria’s tech ecosystem, among which were Tomi Davies (TVC Labs), Sim Shagaya (Konga), Tunde Kehinde (Apost), Bode Pedro (Veda), Demola Ogundele (NotJustOk), Deji Adewunmi (Jobberman), Chika Nwobi (L5Labs), Bankole Cardoso (EasyTaxi), and Honey Ogundeyi (Fashpa).

Over awesome food, space and ambience, there was a networking session among attendees, a roundtable discussion/questions and answers segment about early stage investment opportunities in Africa’s internet space.

“A conversation about the Lagos startup ecsosystem between those shaping it today has started. It will be interesting to hear what is being said,” Tomi Davies said.
