ENTERPRISE54 – Microsoft Devices Group director Joe Devassy, has stated that Nigeria’s infrastructure challenges has to be dealt with to develop its mobile apps market.
This statement was made last week after a visit to the CcHUB, a Nigerian pre-incubation space in Yaba, Lagos.
Applauding the government for its acquisition of 4G, Devassy said that ‘the greatest challenge in the Nigerian apps market is discovery thus he charged the young entrepreneurs at the incubation space to be creative and input consumer friendly apps in their innovations.
“The largest currency that developers value is the consumers,” Devassy said.
Despite the infrastructure challenges of Nigeria, it is still considered as a target market for technology owing to its huge population.
