Wow! This is really a good and exciting news for all young Nigerian entrepreneurs with great business ideas. Total Nigeria PLC is totally doing it big this time with the 2015 start-up challenge which aims at financially and professionally helping young and budding entrepreneurs.

The start up challenge which was innovated by Total Nigeria PLC and the Total ventures will be done in 34 African countries with Nigeria being the first on the list. The challenge starts on the first of December with registration on the online platform created principally for the registration of names and business ideas of each participant.

Nigerian youths and best brains with the most daring and innovative projects of under 2 years will be allowed to participate in the challenge. The challenge seeks to look for the emergence of new innovative, originality, audacity and the ideas which are life changing and can contribute positively to the socio-economic development of the country and its citizens as a whole.

The Managing Director of Total Group, Mr. Alexis Vovk says: “The challenge in Nigeria is to support young Nigerian entrepreneurs below the age of 35 years y not only giving them financial support but also customised coaching, an impactful and rewarding label and visibility”.

He also added that it has been noticed that the young entrepreneurs will not only be interested on financial support but also empowerment and visibility. Therefore it is with this in mind that the creators of the challenge have reached out to economic experts and analysts from finance, industries, media and other business related fields to come and contribute to the grooming and reward of them participants

The defense of the competition comes up on March 15th, 2016 in the presence of the jury and it is at the award ceremony that the best three projects will be rewarded with the first position bagging #6 million, and the second and third receiving a reward of N4 million and N2 million respectively.
