The two days summit which is scheduled to hold on November 20 and 21 affords participants the opportunity to build network and strengthen business alliances.
Since it first launched in April 2010 which first held in Washington, the summit has become the world’s largest entrepreneurship summit where emerging startups, women entrepreneurs, young entrepreneurs, industrialists and CEO of reputed organisations across the globe come together to exchange of views and ideas on possible business opportunities.
The second was held December 2011 while the third and fourth summits held in Dubai and Malaysia respectfully.
Morocco was selected among 50 other African countries – a move signifying the immense development the Arab nation has reached as a sustainable hub for investment opportunity.
The decision to host the summit in Morocco was announced at the US-Africa summit this week.
The Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) is a United States government program and an extension of President Barack Obama’s commitment to entrepreneurship as a mainstay of US global engagement.
