General Electric has announced a list of 27 finalists for the 2016 GE Lagos Garage 3D training program. 50 finalists were intially shortlisted by GE Lagos Garage and were asked to pitch to a panel of experts who then cut down the number to 27 finalists. Below are the names of the 27 finalists who made it into the training: Anjola Badaru, Alu Juliet, Aikenosi Akhigbe, Quadri Abiodun, Ridwan Suleiman, Ruth Osunkoya, Chuks Oteke, Abdulhafeez Omotosho, Emmanuel Odunlade, Maduka Smart, Israel Joseph, Kingsley Ogechukwu, Michael Adediran, Odira Nwachukwu, Daniel Isa, Oprah Morgridge, Christian Chime, Sam Uduma, Femi Omole, Adekorede Adeshina, Henry Ibitolu, Suaye Banigo, Godswill Marshal, Samson Emeje, Olusegun Pikuda, Evero Aria, Olajide Ojeniyi.
The GE Lagos Garage 3D training program which has already begun, is a 6 week fabrication laboratory and business accelerator setup to train, mentor, support and grow Nigerian businesses. The 27 participants will get the opportunity to work with a variety of world-class instructors, investors, technical experts, and partners, in order to learn how to create products using 3D printers and build a culture of collaboration and innovation to bring their wildest ideas to life.
