ENTERPRISE54 – At the recently concluded MSME Business Networking Summit held in Lagos, the Managing Director of Jovago.com, Marek Zmyslowski made a presentation where he mentored up-and-coming entrepreneurs on the measures to take to help their businesses access required funding. He also outlined the benefits of strategic partnerships to a growing business.

The MSME Business Networking Summit is centered on enlightening MSME’s on platforms/agencies that can be leveraged for business growth and expansion and empowering the MSMEs by connecting them to fund sources such as BOI & NEXIM Bank to access single digit (government backed) loans.

According to Marek Zmyslowski, Managing Director of Jovago Nigeria: “When you have a business that is less than 3 years old, don’t look for funding from banks, go to Venture Capitalists as they will be more likely to buy into your business vision and fund it.” Zmyslowski also said “strategic partnerships can help your business grow so always identify companies that will help align your business and seek out partnerships with such companies.”

Jovago.com is an online hotel booking service headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria and founded by Africa Internet Holding.
