Nigeria’s premier entertainment news and gossip print magazine City People has partnered with Anozim Digital Marketing (ADM) agency to launch its website; thereby, evolving from a print to digital media.
The move to create the digital platform, which is equally owned by both companies, is to align with the news shift from print to digital in order to continue to entertain entertainment enthusiasts with the juiciest gossips and news.
City People will create the news content while ADM provides digital infrastructure and marketing. ADM is a leader in the Nigerian digital marketing space and has consulted for local and international companies including GTBank, TradeStable, AutoGenius, British Council, Cheki.com.ng, Guardian Nigeria, HouseholdMax, etc.
After taking reins of The Guardian Newspaper’s digital publishing in March, ADM remarkably quadrupled the news site’s online readership in four months. In March, with a just about 66,000 daily visitors to its site, The Guardian entrusted Anozim, with handling its digital presence. Today the newspaper’s website hosts over 300, 000 visitors daily, about 9 million monthly and 3.5m unique up from 800,000 uniques in March. The Guardian also waxes over 400,000 twitter followers and similar level of engagement across other social media platforms.
