Nigeria’s shopping community where buyers meet sellers to make deals for used or new products,  KAYMU has taken strides to contribute and enhance the technological advancement of the SME community in Nigeria by collaborating with the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) to host the maiden edition of the Entrepreneurs’ Club.

With the theme “Empowering the Next Generation SME”, the one-day innovative business and technology conference will feature hands-on practical sessions with business, technology and financial experts to help SME owners understand how they can harness their efforts and leverage technological advancements to enhance productivity.

According to Tomiwa Oladele, Head PR and Offline marketing for Kaymu, “Participating individuals and business will have the opportunity to equip themselves with key sales, management, financial and technological tools to grow their business.”

Speakers at the Event Include Dele Alimi Director, Membership & Trade Promotion, Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Sefik Bagdadioglu Managing Director KAYMU Nigeria, Muyiwa Afolabi, Business Management Coach, Ibikunle Bolorunduro Fidelity Bank SME business advisor amongst others.

This is not the first time KAYMU will partner with LCCI, the e-commerce outfit had earlier this year joined forces with LCCI to train 100 SMEs as part of its second year anniversary celebration. KAYMU follows in the way of rival e-commerce giant, KONGA who also announced a summit for SME owners in an attempt to drive interaction beyond the online mode and genuinely deliver impacts.

With fierce competition in the e-commerce business, one is wont to ask if Konga’s earlier announcement of an SME summit had put KAYMU on its toes.

These healthy competitions surely have begotten good opportunities for entrepreneurs to utilize these channels to hone their business and financial acumen.

Expected guests at the event include entrepreneurs, SMEs, manufacturers, tech experts, enthusiasts, and business savvy individuals. Attendance is free, however, will require registration, which closes on September 3, 2015 as the event holds September 4, 2015, at the LCCI Event and Exhibition Centre from 10am-3pm.
