- TONY ELUMELU FUND FOR AFRICAN ENTREPRENEURS:
The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme – an annual programme of training, funding and mentoring, designed to empower the next generation of African entrepreneurs – is now open for entries through its application portal
Amount: $100m
Eligibility and Application:
The Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme is open to citizens and legal residents of all 54 African countries. Applications can be made by any for-profit business based in Africa in existence for less than three years, including new business ideas. Apply here
AFRICA ENTERPRISE CHALLENGE FUND (Investors connect)
The AECF Ivestors connect scheme seeks to connect businesses looking for finance with investors.
Eligibility and Application:
Business ideas in agriculture, agribusiness, renewable energy, adaptation to climate change and access to information and financial services should go here
- UNITED STATES AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION (USADF)
USADF supports African-led development that grows community enterprises by providing seed capital and technical support.

- ANZISHA PRIZE AWARDS
The Anzisha Prize seeks to award young entrepreneurs who have developed and implemented innovative solutions to social challenges or started successful businesses within their communities. 12 finalists from across Africa will be selected.
Size: The grand prize winners, selected from these finalists, will share prizes worth $75,000 USD. Application starts February 15, 2017
