Friday 2 October, 2015 witnessed the launching of a new classified platform for jobs called WorkinAfrica in Nigeria. The platform joins the ever mushrooming African job classified family already being dominated by giant platforms such PushCV, Jobberman among others.

However, the platform seems prepared for the competition in the already saturated job classified ecosystem. It launches with the integration of a salary calculator on its dashboard to help users get an idea of what their salary range should be even before they apply for jobs online.

Deciding on what salary to ask employers ranks high on the list of the many challenges perturbing the very few employees that get employment invitation. Many of these employees usually settle for less than their normal worth out of fear of scaring the few employers that exist away. workinAfrica.com is poised on ending this and it’s leaving no stone unturned.

“Our goal is to offer the most stable and effective job platform in sub-Saharan Africa. We believe in the power of this recruitment solution to take online recruitment in sub-Saharan Africa to the next level.”- Adrian Vasilescu, Project Director, WorkinAfrica

Like many African job classified platform, it is positioned to serve both the employers and employees. However, it does not just function as a point of convergence for employers and employees, it has imbued in its scope, a gamified approach to getting employees ready professionally with courses, games, and insights according to their skills and dreams.

Although, workinAfrica recently launched in Nigeria, it already has a burgeoning user base with job posting from Tchad and Abidjan making the list of ads on the site.
