WISE Awards 2017: Apply to win $20,000

The World Innovation Summit for Education, WISE Awards 2017 is calling for applications from individuals with innovative projects providing solutions to challenges in education.

The 2017 WISE Awards aims to identify, celebrate, and promote 6 innovative projects for their positive contribution to the development of education at any level and in all environments. In bringing forward these models, WISE is helping to build a network of recognized change-makers to inspire transformation and innovation in education.

Application for the WISE Awards 2017 is now opened between November 5, 2016 – January 17, 2017 after which the Pre-Jury evaluation takes place between February – March. Announcement of Finalists will be done in June, with the Jury evaluation following through in August before the final announcement of winning projects in September, 2017.

Application Guidelines for WISE Awards

1. Complete the application/nomination form in English as clearly as possible
2. Be precise in your responses; provide evidence and concrete examples
3. Numbers and data should be up-to-date and supported by verifiable evidence
4. In case of an application form, include contact details of two valid supporters
5. Provide real-life examples of beneficiaries when applicable

Eligible applications and nominations will be evaluated by a Pre-Jury according to the guidelines. 15 Finalists will be selected by Qatar Foundation; a Jury will make the final selection of 6 winning projects.

The winning projects will each receive international recognition, as well as a cash prize of $20,000. The 6 winners and finalists will be given support and visibility through: the WISE ed.hub, WISE media and communication channels, WISE and Euronews film productions and participation in the WISE Summit.
