How Drinking Alcohol Could Help You Close a Megabucks Deal – Debola Williams

ENTERPRISE54 – I found these ‘words of wisdom’ on RED Media cofounder Adebola William’s instagram page and I thought to share them here. They were more of rules of engagement for drinking with a prospective client.

Try to never turn down a drink form a client.

Rather, the trick I learnt is to drink deceptively especially when trying to close a deal. You can’t afford to make your potential client feel uncomfortable.

When clients invite you to drinks, it’s to bond and most likely build the relationship to a new level.

Way too many deals are sealed in the bar while the office is for paper work!

Note generally that even if you are a drinker, when out with client you must drink less so you are alert.
