Bayo’s works have appeared on BellaNaija.com – Africa’s foremost fashion, entertainment and lifestyle website, YNaija, ThisDay and in Y! Magazine, Nigeria’s most prestigious youth culture magazine, amongst others. He has been a finalist in two categories (Still Life and Lifestyle) at the Nigeria Photography Awards 2011, second runner-up at the AAF-Etisalat Amateur Photography Competition 2012 and won first prize at the NACCP Climate Change photo contest in 2012.
Aisha, 35, is not only a photographer but also a film maker and mixed media artist. She is a graduate of Mass Communication from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria; with an MSc in Media and Communication at the Pan African University. She has has certifications in Digital Film making and another in curating contemporary art exhibitions from the New York Film Academy and Chelsea College of Art and Design in London respectively. In 2011, she won the Future Award for Creative Artist of the Year for her Faces of Africa portrait series, a collection of portraits of female faces elaborately painted to re-enact the vibrant patterns of the Surma Tribe of Ethiopia.
She is the founder of Centre for Art and Creative Talent (CACT) in Abuja. She runs MeerMaad Networks Limited and in 2009, she co-founded The Photowagon.
Lakin is another promising young man whose bold and beautiful images are characterised by their striking use of colour, light and angles. The fashion photographer’s moody portraits of men and women are daring and provocative; he transforms the human body into a work of art with his defiant, and sometimes, playful gaze.
His career on the rise, he has shot some of Nigeria’s biggest names, including Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and his work has been exhibited at Lagos Photo Festival, Art 14 in London, the Rooke and van Wyk Gallery in Johannesburg.
Since winning the Best Young Photographer award from the AFAA Afrique en Création in the fifth edition of the Bamako Photo Festival, Emeka has continued to push the boundaries of contemporary African photography. He founded Invisible Borders, an annual photographic road trip across Africa involving a team of artists and photographers to explore new ways of portraying the continent and transforming African society. The height of his travel so far was in 2014 when invisible borders embarked on their most ambitious road trip, travelling across 20 countries and 40 stops from Lagos to Sarajevo.
His work engages with the idea of possibilities and the politics of representation, preoccupied with the need to examine and transcend pre-defined borders.
Deola is a fast rising young Nigerian photographer who lives and works in Lagos. Interested in what the body communicates outside of our conscious thoughts, her latest project, Paths and Patterns, explores feet as maps of journeys and experience, testing the boundary between pre-determined routes and the freedom to wander.
Her work has been exhibited at Lagos Photo and she won the Young Artfund Amsterdam Award for 2013.

21 year old Emily, is one of the fast rising young Nigerians using photography to change their world. In 2015, Emily who is inspired from everyday happenings around her and fine art, undertook the documentation of the plight of internally displaced persons in the northeast and initiated a concept titled – Keep Hope Alive; this concept gives back to the IDP community a percentage of those photographs sold. Although she always wanted to be a cinematographer, she believes her experience in photography will eventually be valuable whenever she gets he opportunity to delve into cinematography.

28 year-old Obi Somto is a graduate of Banking and Finance from Babcock University. Somto is one of those multi-faceted young photographers in Nigeria. Apart from photography he is also into the art of drawing, painting, moulding and carving.
He launched his career as a graphic designer and illustrator who brings a unique blend of experience, vision and distinction to his style of photography.
He has photographed several high profile Nigerians, celebrities and dignitaries, with former president Goodluck Jonathan topping the list.
